About Tailored Tutoring
Tailored Tutoring is a UK not-for-profit organisation, currently seeking charitable status, dedicated to supporting pupils who need additional help to succeed in school.
We provide one-to-one and small group tutoring within schools, giving children focused, personalised support that helps them build confidence, close learning gaps, and rediscover a sense of progress in their education.
Founded by experienced English teacher Marcus Dalrymple, Tailored Tutoring was created in response to a simple but urgent need: many capable children fall behind because they do not receive the individual attention required to overcome challenges.
Marcus brings years of classroom experience and a strong commitment to helping pupils who might otherwise struggle to access the support they deserve.
Our current work is focused in Yorkshire, particularly in Leeds, York, and Harrogate.
While Marcus is presently the sole tutor delivering the programme, the long-term vision is to build a network of qualified volunteer tutors with teaching experience. As the organisation grows, we aim to support schools across the country through both in-person and online tutoring.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. By working in partnership with schools, Tailored Tutoring seeks to provide practical, compassionate support that strengthens learning, boosts self-belief, and creates lasting educational foundations.
